Big Day at the Lake (Year 20!) is July 20

This year, Year 20 of Big Day at the Lake, will be held July 20 all around Lake Norman—wherever you have a boat.

Every year, “Boat Hosts” open their boats and hearts for deserving “Littles” and their “Bigs” who arrive by car at the chosen meeting place: A marina, public ramp, boat club or a private home.

The mornings are full of boating, tubing, swimming and fishing. Boat Hosts often join together to increase the fun.

Thanks to email and Facebook, the meet-ups can occur at any location—Big Day at the Lake isn’t centralized at a single location until the picnic at the Explorium Huntersville.

By the way, virtually all our expenses are covered by in-kind donations. Same as usual, we are working on t-shirts for all participants this year.
