Lake Norman area residents and businesses come together to share the lake with children who would not otherwise experience this type of outdoor fun and to provide a unique activity BBBS kids and their mentors can enjoy together. Volunteer boat hosts provide access to the lake and recreational activities such as tubing and water skiing. Bigs and Littles spend the morning exploring and enjoying the lake followed by a festive lakefront picnic and games at Duke Energy Explorium. For many of the children, it is the highlight of their year!
